Thandai masala is must make recipe for Holi. Here is a very easy recipe, you can make this masala and keep it in an airtight container, in a cool dry place. I usually keep it in the refrigerator. When you wish to have thandai you just need to add milk and run it in the mixer.
Ingredients
1/2 Cup Unsalted Pistachio
1/4 Cup Walnut
1/4 Cup Cashews
1/4 Cup Dried Red Rose petals
2 Tbsp Poppy Seeds (Khus Khus)
2 Tbsp Sesame seeds
4 Tbsp Melon Seeds
4 Tbsp Fennel Seeds ( Saunf)
15-20 Green Cardamon, seeds only
1 Tbsp Black Peppercorns
1/2 tsp Saffron
1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
Procedure
Place all the ingredients in the grinder Jar, run the mixer and once it forms a coarse powder, transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate.
